A Word of Welcome From the Pastor
Looking for a new church can be as intimidating as looking for a new home. There are certain features you're looking for to meet the needs of your family. And sometimes even when you find everything you want, sometimes, it just doesn't feel right. We think you'll feel right at home here at Cokesbury United Methodist Church.
You don't have to be a church member to take part in the many great programs we offer. You may find your special purpose with our Helping Hands homeless ministry. You may connect with new friends as you enjoy coffee in the "Commons" before our worship services. Our Methodist Men's and Women's groups would welcome your special gifts and talents as they reach out to our community. There is a place for you at Cokesbury United Methodist Church, not just to fit in, but to grow closer to God.
The best way to start your Cokesbury experience is to join us on a Sunday morning. The folks here keep an eye out for guests and make a point of reaching out to greet them and help them find their way. When you come to worship with us, you'll typically find our sanctuary filled with the music and traditions you might remember from when you went to church as a kid. But you'll also find a relaxed environment that allows you to just be yourself.
